Privacy policy
Last updated 5 November 2026
General information
This policy explains how InDevnial ("we", "us") handles personal data when you visit indevnial.com or contact us by email ("the Services"). We may update this policy; the current version is always the one posted here, with the date above.
Controller
The controller of your personal data is the company that operates InDevnial. Its name, business ID and address are on our company information page. You can reach us at info@indevnial.com.
Personal data
Personal data is any information that identifies you directly or indirectly. We do not have user accounts, we do not build profiles of visitors and we do not make automated decisions about you.
Sharing of personal data
We never sell personal data. We share it only when necessary: with your consent, where our legitimate interests require it (for example to run and protect the website or to work with the developers of the games we publish on a matter you raised), or where the law requires it.
Please note
The website links to other services, such as the games' pages on Steam. Those services have their own privacy policies and terms, and what happens there is up to them.
Data collected
The website has no forms, no sign-ups and no comment fields. We only receive personal data when you choose to send it to us, for example by email: your name, contact details and whatever your message contains. We ask for nothing more than we need.
Technical data when you visit
Like any website, loading indevnial.com means your browser connects to the servers that deliver it. Those services process your IP address and basic request information (time, page requested, browser type) to deliver and protect the site. See "Data processors" below.
Information we receive from third parties
The developers and platforms we work with may pass us contact details or platform usernames when you have contacted them about a game we publish. We use them only for the purpose they were shared for.
Purpose of processing
- Delivering the website and keeping it secure.
- Answering your messages, including press, business and partnership enquiries.
- Meeting our legal obligations.
We do not use your data for any unrelated purpose.
Legal basis
Consent
When you contact us, you consent to us using what you sent to reply. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
Legitimate interest
Delivering and securing the website, and handling business correspondence, are our legitimate interests. We weigh them against your rights and keep the data involved to a minimum.
Legal obligation
We keep records the law requires, such as accounting records, and we answer lawful requests from authorities.
Is providing data mandatory?
No. You can browse the whole website without giving us anything. If you choose not to share your contact details, we simply cannot reply to you.
Data storage, processing and retention
We protect personal data with appropriate technical and organisational measures.
Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as long as the law requires. After that it is deleted or anonymised.
Data processors
We use trusted service providers who process data only on our instructions or to deliver their service:
- Cloudflare hosts the website and protects it from attacks. It processes your IP address and request data. Everything on the website, including its fonts and code, is served through Cloudflare from indevnial.com; your browser does not contact any other service.
- Our email provider, when you write to us.
International data transfers
Some of these providers may process data outside the EU/EEA. Where they do, the transfer is protected by safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Children's data
The Services are not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect their data. If a child contacts us, we use the message only to reply and delete it when it is no longer needed. If you believe we hold a child's data, contact us and we will remove it.
Cookies
We do not set cookies and the website stores nothing in your browser. Our host Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie (such as __cf_bm) when it needs to tell people from bots; it is not used for tracking. If we ever add other cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before setting any cookie that is not strictly necessary.
Analytics
We do not use analytics or tracking of any kind on this website.
Your rights
Under data protection law you have the following rights. We answer requests within one month and may need to confirm your identity first.
Access, correction or erasure
You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or erase it.
Restrict or object to processing
You can ask us to restrict how we process your data, or object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
Transfer your personal data
You can ask us to transfer data you gave us to you or to another organisation.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Finland that is the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
